Week 3 from Marsha

Job- lesson 3

Here's what struck me from lesson 3. Would love to hear from others as to what caught their attention.

1. Job's greatest fear during all his trials....
Job 3: 24-26 "Instead of bread I get growns for my supper, then leave the table and vomit my anguish. The worst of my fears has come true, what I've dreaded most has happened. My repose is shattered, my peace destroyed. No rest for me ever---death has invaded life."
I've started reading from The Message Bible. I enjoy how plan and simple it is -- yet powerful.
Job's greatest fear was to live without peace and rest -- it wasn't to live without his "stuff" - or even his beloved family. His fear was to live life in turmoil and unrest.

2. another neat thing to dwell on from this lesson (for me anyway..)
II Peter 3:8 -9 --- earthly trials and sorrows are short lived compared to eternity in heaven.
